I never met James but I know he was a very special person and loved by many. God must have needed a very special angel at this time and James Aistrop was chosen to be that angel. He touched many lives and left many wonderful memories that will keep him alive with us. My prayers are with you all.

I have many fond memories of James. He was always kind, supportive and had a smile that would "light up a room". James trully loved and cared for his family and was always there for them through thick and thin. I know his loved ones are in pain right now but I also know that the Lord Jesus will help them get through this very difficult time. Rest In Peace Uncle James...you will be missed but never forgotten.

A fisherman, a hunter, a hard-worker, a provider for the family, a generous person, a quiet observer, respectful, honest and modest....these are just a few words for describing James. Memories are something that can never be erased, this is what we have to cherish after our loved ones pass on to a better life.
I am happy to say that I have many great memories of James....he was part of my childhood, as well as my adulthood and I am blessed to have known him.
I always enjoyed my yearly "porch visits", just sitting, talking and listening to the birds.
I am so glad that my family maintained ties with the Aistrop family over the years, because I feel that they are part of the family.
I will greatly miss seeing James and I know Nanny will miss just having him by her side.
Nanny, Kathy, Joyce and David...you are in my thoughts and prayers..please receive my most sincere condolences. May God be with you and give you strength during this time of sorrow.

We will surely miss Mr. Aistrop as a neighbor and friend. We always looked forward to the fish he bought us. All of you are in our prayers and we're so sorry for your lost. God bless you all and comfort you in this sad time. The Drumheller family
