James married Elizabeth Marsh in Granite City, IL on May 31, 1991.
The loving husband retired from Chrysler after 32 years of service.
James is survived by his wife; a step-son, Stephen Jarman of Granite City; cousins: Carol and Jimmy Pettigrew of Washington, IL; nephews: William Brousseau and Josh Brousseau; a sister in law, Wanda Aitken and many other nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, James is preceded in death by 2 brothers: Robert Aitken and Bill Aitken and 2 sisters: Rachell Aitken and Jacquelyn Lease.
