James Edward Allen, 58, of Town Creek, passed away Saturday, July 13, 2024 at his home. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM at the funeral home with Bro. Mike Price officiating. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery.
Born on March 31, 1966 to Charles and Stella Oliver Allen, James loved playing softball and the guitar. He also enjoyed shooting pool and hunting.
Survivors include his parents; children, Jayley Allen, Lucas Allen, and Jamie Morrison; step-daughter, Ashley Rutherford; grandchildren, Jackson and Chloe; sister, Tonya (Jeremy) Tidwell; brother, Charles Ray (Vickie) Allen; nieces, and nephews, Lakin Gray, Dustin Tidwell, Chris Allen, Kayla Allen, and Harley Allen; and other extended family.
Pallbearers will be Chris Allen, Todd Cooley, Tony Dutton, Jeremy Tidwell, and Jayden Allen.
The family extends special thanks to Dr. Samih Nassif Abudinen and North Alabama ENT Associates PC.
