James " Doug" Anderson of Lake Charles, Louisiana, passed away on September 5, 2025, at a local hospital.
James was born on September 14th in Omaha, Nebraska, to James and Louise Anderson. He grew up in Nebraska, graduating high school before joining the Air Force.
He embarked on a career in manufactured homes, dedicating 20 years to Clayton Homes, where he was known for being a leader and mentor.
He met his wife Aleisha in 2000 and married in 2013.
He enjoyed the outdoors, live music and cooking and will be fondly remembered for having a warm heart and a great disposition. He loved people and was actively involved on the Board of Commissions of Louisiana generously contributing his time to local community.
"Doug" is survived by his son Jason Booker and brother David Anderson
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Louise Anderson.
Memorial service will be held in the chapel of Simple Traditions by Johnson Monday, Sept 29, 2025 beginning at 10am.
