James E. "Jim" Andrews

James E. "Jim" Andrews, age 62, of LaGrange, passed away on Monday, November 24, 2025, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
He was born on October 21, 1963, in Rolla, Missouri, to William F. and Thelma Arita (Johnson) Andrews.
Jim worked as a forklift operator and a truck driver, careers that reflected his strong work ethic and willingness to lend a hand wherever needed. On September 11, 1999, he married his partner and helpmate, LuAnn L. Ruswinkle, at Corner Stone Baptist Church in Shipshewana, Indiana, and together they shared 26 years of marriage.
Jim had a deep love of music and enjoyed playing guitar and singing. He also collected guns, liked playing the video game Fallout, and took great enjoyment in researching a wide variety of topics online. Above all else, Jim cherished time spent with his grandchildren and family, who brought him his greatest joy.
He is survived by his wife, LuAnn Andrews of LaGrange; his children, Kimberly Keeler of Delton, Michigan, Robert (Alana) Andrews of Yellow Springs, Ohio, and Kristina Andrews and Amber Andrews, both of Delton, Michigan; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild soon to arrive. He is also survived by two sisters, Linda Rich of Houston, Missouri, and Cheryl Fletcher of McAlester, Oklahoma; and three brothers, Robert Andrews of Houston, Missouri, Gary Andrews of Cuba, Missouri, and Gayle Andrews of Rolla, Missouri; a niece, Suzannah Strom of Rolla, Missouri; and a nephew, John Andrews of Houston, Missouri.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents and 6 of his siblings.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at Frurip-May Funeral Home, 309 West Michigan Street, LaGrange, Indiana, with Rev. Gary Cox officiating. Visitation will take place at the funeral home on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
