James Edmonds "Jimmy" Arnold

A Bardstown resident, Mr. James Edmonds "Jimmy" Arnold, age 71, passed away Thursday December 25, 2025, at his residence. Jimmy was born January 18, 1955, in Bardstown to the late Robert "Bob" and Gladys Edmonds Arnold. Jimmy was a retired insurance agent, loved to travel, loved baseball, music and the Kentucky Wildcats. He loved his three sons, loved life and was a man about town. He was a member of the Bardstown 1st Christian Church Disciples of Christ. He is survived by his three sons, Wilson Arnold of Bardstown, Andy Arnold of Bowling Green, Alex (Ashley) Arnold of Bardstown, one sister, Kathy Goff of Mount Washington, one brother, Bobby Arnold of Bardstown and the mother of his children and good friend, Gena Arnold. Visitation for Mr. James Edmonds "Jimmy" Arnold will be Monday, December 29, 2025, from 2:00pm to 6:00pm. A time of sharing with family and friends will be 5:00pm Monday. Cremation will follow the visitation with inurnment in Bardstown Cemetery at a later date. The Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
