James was born on February 8, 1931 and passed away on Saturday, January 19, 2019. James was a resident of Tyler, Texas at the time of passing. Jim graduated from London High School in 1948, as class valedictorian and captain of the football team. A private burial will take place at Ebenezer Cemetery in Arp, Texas, under the direction of Stewart Family Funeral Home. Visitation is scheduled from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at Stewart Family Funeral Home, 7525 Old Jacksonville Highway, in Tyler.
