So sorry to hear of Jim's passing. Jim and Mershel were friends with the Fautz's on St. Catherine. I am Marie Fautz's daughter. Mom said she remembered washing dishes with Mershel at Grandma Fautz's. We have picture of Jim and Mersh at some of our family get togethers. The brothers were so nice to me and my brother Don. I remember getting soft drinks from that old soft drink machine. That was our treat. Anyway just wanted theirfamilies to know about the good times we had with them. May God bless your families during this sad time. Sincerely Jeanne Farmer Cleland

God bless each of you. To have been blessed in life with your dad and granddad is truly a special gift from God. He was a gentleman on earth and now a special angel in the arms of God. May God bless and comfort you with the special memories he left with you.

Dear Jimmy, Vikki, Keith and other grieving members of the Asseff family: I am so very sorry to hear about your loss, and my heart goes out to you during this difficult time. I have very fond memories of our times in Florida and at The Club and remembering Uncle Jimmy at the Asseff Service Station in his uniform. Always, he exhibited warmth and kindness and brought a smile upon seeing him, more recently at special dinners at St. Michael's. Thinking of you and praying for you.... Peace be with you, Cousin Kathy (George) Carden

My grandparents lived next door to the gas station. I remember Jim as incredibly kind and gentle. He was wonderful to my grandparents and always gave us grandchildren little gifts and treats. He was a wonderful human being who helped make this world a better place. He made a lasting impression on my heart. Rest In Peace in the arms of our Lord.
