I first met Mr.Austin when he coached Windsor Legion Baseball team (I believe it was the first Legion team Windsor had). He would come and pick me up for practice and games or make sure I had a ride. I won´t forget that even though I was definitely not the best player on the team. I also know him as Dona´s dad who graduated with me and I became friends with her, and later her husband Tim. I don´t believe you could have met him and not instantly respect him. There was just something about him. Rest in peace sir

So sorry to read of James's passing. We were classmates all through school and later in life my husband Don got to become friends with him at the diner at the end of Kent St for coffee in the mornings. He was always so polite and a true gentleman who served his country. Prayers for all his family. Don passed 2 1/2 years ago, now they can have their morning coffe and chats again. RIP Old friend, Wilma

Jim was a kind and generous man. He´ll be remembered for many things. He was the neighbor people long for. The many times he plowed snow for us is an example of the kindnesses that will be long remembered and are just an example of the man he was.
