I´m so sorry to hear of Mr. Autio´s passing. I had him for French and German for a total of 3 years at BC High, and he wrote my letter of recommendation to the colleges to which I applied. A great teacher, and it sounds like his passion for teaching was surpassed only by his faith and his love for his family. I wish the family peace and comfort during this difficult time. Auf Wiedersehen, Herr Autio.

God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. Reading about your father, he clearly left a beautiful legacy!
May God bless him on his journey home to Heaven.
With love,

"Herr Autio," as we affectionately knew him, was one of my favorite teachers at Xavier High School. He made the learning of German fun through his enthusiasm and obvious joy of teaching the young "Men of Xavier." My heart goes out to his family who clearly knew the same enthusiasm growing up with him.

Ellen and family so sorry for your loss. My memories of Jim were of a kind, funny, and interesting man. After reading your tribute to him Marybeth I can see how blessed you were as a family. I hope those treasured memories bring you joy once this time of loss is over. God Bless. Patti Crowley

Dear Mar Beth and family,
I never had the pleasure of meeting your dad but after reading his obituary it warms my heart. It comes through strong that he was a loving dad and grandad.
May the memories bring you smiles and peace.
You are in my prayers and thoughts.
With care,
