It's with heavy hearts, we announce the passing of James Ball, a loving and devoted father, and cherished Pepaw to his grandchildren, who peacefully passed away on January 2, 2025 at the age of 69.
He was born in Dayton, OH and resided in Troy, OH. He was known for the joy he brought to anyone he came into contact with. He was always smiling and spreading his happiness to everyone around him. He was a God Loving man ready to go to heaven and always told his family and friends to have their lives right with the lord so when he's gone he can see them again in heaven.
He leaves behind his two daughters, April Snider and Amanda Aldrich; his two son-in-laws, Chris Snider and Jeremy Aldrich; his four grandchildren who truly were his everything, Alli Aldrich, Addy Aldrich, Aiden Aldrich and Alex Aldrich; his two sisters, Linda Pelton and Shirley Allison; along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Elsie Ball; his father, David Ball; his brother, Jerry Ball and many uncles, aunts and cousins.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at Newcomer Funeral Home - North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd. Dayton, OH 45424 from 11:30 am to 12:30pm.
Following the visitation, a graveside service will be held at Arlington cemetery in Brookville, OH.
