Died: October 2, 2021 in Las Vegas, NV
James "Jim" Vincent Barango, age 74, originally from Crystal Lake, born on June 2, 1947 in Chicago to Florance and the late Vincent Barango passed away peacefully in Las Vegas, on October 2, 2021.
Moving to Crystal Lake at age 10, he was raised in Crystal Lake.
Graduating from Crystal Lake High School in 1965, and Northern Illinois University in 1970.
After graduation, he moved to the Los Angeles, California area for the next 50 years.
More recently, he relocated to Las Vegas, to live with his sister, Madeline. He is survived by his mother, Florance; sisters, Linda (Jack) Heisler, and Madeline Winsor; nephews, Timothy (Lindsay) Heisler, and Brian Heisler; niece, Kelly Miller; and many grand nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his father, Vincent Barango.
Jim was a loyal and loving son, brother, and uncle. Family was most important to him. He was most generous in helping family members many times when needed. One of his special interests and hobby, was car shows, and cars in general. He will be greatly missed by family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 29 from 10:30am until the time of his Memorial Service at 11:00am at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake. Interment will follow at Crystal Lake Memorial Park.
