James Walter Beers of Crestview Hills, KY died Tuesday, October 28, 2025.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Doris Beers, his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Gladys and Joseph Thurman, his wife of sixty – four years, Sherrill Thurman Beers, his daughter-in-law, Denise Wind Beers, his brother-in-law, George Budig, and his sister-in-law and brother-in-law Jane and Frank Thurman.

He is survived by his daughter, Kelly (Steve) Cantrall, and son Greg Beers. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, Hillary (Jamie), Jessica (Greg), Christopher (Wednesday), Charlie (Kendall), Chelsea (Doug), Brian, Amanda, Kevin (Alison), ten great-grandchildren, his sister, Mary Jo Budig, and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Jim was involved in the business forms and printing industry for over 45 years, as well as being an avid musician, playing saxophone and singing in a band up until a month before his passing. He served for many years as the Choir Director for Erlanger Christian Church.

He was a member of the Northern Kentucky Heritage League, as well as being a talented artist and painter.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 1 from 10AM-Noon and a memorial service at Noon at Linnemann Funeral Home in Erlanger. To watch Jim's services live, please visit: https://youtube.com/live/SJuXmwutviQ?feature=share

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Beechwood Educational Foundation and to St. Elizabeth Hospice.
