James Patrick Beirne

I just realized this was the same Jim Beirne that played for the Oilers. The Wright´s Obituary was not lengthy. The Oilers had their Pre-Season Camp in Kerrville for several years and I went out and watched 2-a day practice every day. And I was not aware Jim had retired to the area. My sympathy and condolences.

I remember our times playing many sports in GW school yard.

Jim was a longtime friend, since grade school....I´ll always remember him as a friend, and also as a devoted husband and wonderful father....He will be Sorely missed....Our sincere condolences to Jodie and the entire Beirne clan...

Jim was an amazing man I knew him and worked with him as he built custom homes in The Woodlands and had him speak at many football engagements and he was always entertaining. He was a proud father and was always telling stories. Jim will be missed for his kindness and I am praying for you and God Bless you.

We are sad to learn of Jim's passing and wish to extend our sympathy to you, Jody and your family. We were high school classmates and Andy was his football team mate. Best memories forever, we will remember him always. God Bless you all.
