I'm so sorry for your loss. Praying for your family. Dr. B was my dermatologist for a bit and did some surgery to remove a cancer from my face. His sense of humor was what I remember the most about him in the short time that I was acquainted with him.

Dr. Bergeron, as was mentioned on his announcement, was truly a dad's dad to many of us who had the privilege to know him for so long. Many fellow Jesuit guys owe their fantastic complexion to Dr. Bergeron's enormous skill, and friendly mannerisms. Of, course, having built his practice 200 feet from Jesuit ensured that we maintained a proper treatment plan.

Dr. Bergeron was incredibly selfless, and never thought about NOT taking us along on the weekends where many of us were first introduced to crawfishing along the banks of some cotton field along side LA 1, or rabbit hunting in Colfax. Incredibly wonderful memories have been etched into me because of his generosity. Needless to say, along with Mrs. Bergeron, those and many other qualities are found in their children, and grandchildren.

But the great part was also in his ability to set the record straight...with Ronnie Jr. Nothing more impressive than Dr. Bergeron sending myself and Ronnie Jr. to Ronnie Jr.'s bedroom after their neighbor called saying that we threw a pinecone at his car. Didn't do that again.

Never shy to be the first one to stick his hand out first to make an introduction, I shall always be indebted to his presence in my life.
My sincere condolences.
