JAMES G. BERISH

JAMES G. BERISH, age 63; passed away unexpectedly on July 17, 2025. Loving father of Nicole Berish (Skyler Force) and Julianne Berish-Mullen (Jack Mullen); cherished grandfather of Jacob, Jett and Jonathan Mullen; devoted son of James S. (deceased) and Arlene Berish; brother of Mark (Norine) and Dan (Leah); uncle of Skylar; dear friend of many. Jimmy retired from PPG after 40 years. He was an avid golfer, loved all Cleveland sports and finally was a contestant on Ohio's Cash Explosion. Jimmy was a kidney transplant recipient from his living donor daughter Nicole; following his transplant Jimmy was a huge advocate for organ donation and was an athlete in the Transplant Games of America held in Cleveland in 2016. "Papa B" loved nothing more than his grandsons and he cherished every moment spent with them. Greatest son, dad, papa and friend ever! He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. A Celebration of James' Life will be held at THE RIPEPI FUNERAL HOME, 5762 PEARL RD. (AT SNOW RD.) THURSDAY, July 24, 2025 from 5-7 p.m. with a concluding prayer at 7 p.m.
