Even though our families were on opposite coasts of US, Jim loved to hear about Marcia and Seymour. He was always helpful to me handling estate and tax matters and was full of ideas. I will miss him. Gary Simon

As a fellow T&E lawyer, I adored Jim. Whenever I had a really obscure question or technical thought racing in my mind, I called Jim. He loved calls like that - he loved to think about geeky things and he loved to help others. He was always generous with his thoughts and time. And he was gracious and funny. I will miss him. Best wishes for his family. Elizabeth Pierson

Hello Judi,
I have fond memories of Jim at Boalt (Berkeley law). I know he was ill for quite a while. I saw him a couple of times at Plato.
You have my sincerest condolences.
