After graduating from high school, Jim proudly served his country in the United States Coast Guard. Later, he owned a Goodyear dealership and spent many years working in the automotive industry, where he was respected for his dedication, knowledge, and integrity.
He is reunited in heaven with his parents, Taylor and Ruth Blake, and his two grandchildren, Taylor Perkins and Brittany Perkins.
