James R. "Jim" Bolton, 86, of Martinsville, passed away Monday, August 16, 2021 at his home.
He was born Sunday, December 9, 1934 to the late Virgil E. and Mildred (Aldridge) Bolton in Indianapolis. On March 5, 1954, he married his wife, Rosalie (Parrish) Bolton who passed away January 4, 2018.
Jim retired form Local Union #1111 as well as Ford Motor Company in 1999 after 30 years. He was a charter member of the Eminence Lions Club and was the Little League coordinator.
He is survived by son, Samuel Bolton of Plainfield; daughters, Sara Bolton of Martinsville, Rhonda Goble of Monrovia; grandchildren, Adam Williams, Ashlee Holtzclaw; great grandchildren, Drake, Halley, Mika, Draven, Deborah and James; great great grandchild, Nova.
Preceding him in death are wife, Rosalie; parents, Virgil and Mildred; brother, William "Bill" Bolton; sisters, Hazel Osman, Lora Beikman, Ruby Baver.
Visitation is 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at Olive Christian Church in Paragon. Services will follow the visitation at 3:00 p.m. at the church with Rev. Charles Tinsley officiating.
Burial will be at Olive Christian Church Cemetery.
