James Morris "Jim" Book

James Morris 'Jim' Book, 90, of Apopka, Florida, passed away peacefully the morning of November 17 th, 2025, alongside his loved ones at home. His memorial service will take place at the Cape Canaveral National Cemetery on December 1, 2025, at 1:30 p.m.

He was born in Orlando, Florida, March 11 th, 1935, but lived in many places during his lifetime, California, Orlando, Weaverville, and Apopka. While serving in the Navy, he also lived in Wiesbaden, Germany; a time he remembered fondly and recounted often.

He was dedicated to people and to spreading kindness. He and his wife Ann Book hosted programs through their church, hosting youth groups and teaching Sunday school. He served the Lord as a Deacon, an Elder, and as a Music Leader. He loved to sing.

Of his many hobbies, he enjoyed bird watching, spoiling his beloved dogs, and eating desserts.

His surviving relatives include his wife Ann Book, his daughters Juliandra Book and Elizabeth (Dean) Klements, his sister Julibeth, and his grandchildren Sam, Shelby, Jillian, Sean, and Amelia.

He loved the Lord, he loved his Family, and he loved his country.
