We adored Uncle Jim! He was always so much fun to talk to and spend time with. He could have given lessons on how to dress because he always was so dapper! We loved him and he will be missed.

Jim was a very dear man. Was my dad , Wendell Cannon´s friend. Whether at the golf course, hunting turkeys, fly fishing for tarpon or going to Peebles BBQ. Jim loved life and didn´t let his poor vision slow him down. I had the pleasure of joining in on some of that fun.
He was very proud of his family.
He will be missed.
Hope your wonderful memories give you comfort at this difficult time.

Condolences to Mr. Boone´s family.

He loved quail and turkey hunting on the Double Diamond Ranch. And my final memory of him was just a few years ago when he hosted my brother, Brian, and I with the special treat of taking us back on the Double Diamond, after 40 years, to sit a turkey stand. About a dozen hens surrounded my stand that foggy morning.

To me, he was always Mister Boone - as he embodied the true Southern gentleman. Even now, I recall his great laugh.

What a wonderful man and what a full life lived. As it should be.
