Jimmy Boone was my frat brother at U of L in the 50's and was one of the finest individuals I ever met. Going in different directions after school we lost contact until I moved back to Louisville in 1992 and was on a flight to Chicago when Jimmy and Rosemary got on the plane. Neither of us recognized each other until we were about to land and we rediscovered each other. We saw Jimmy and Rosmary often after that and always enjoyed their company. RIP brother.

Jim and I were frat brothers and doubled dated many times. In fact, when Jim was stationed at Fort Benning, we were living in Atlanta and they spent a weekend with us. We went to a U of L vs Georgia T basketball game and had a great time. He was always a joy to be around and everyone spoke well of him. I never heard him talk of anyone but in good expressions. He was truly a dear friend and great guy. RIP dear brother. Milam Beasley
