I had the pleasure of working beside Jim at Braemar, and I truly enjoyed his personality, candidness, and honesty. He always had a story to share, whether it was about the happenings on the course that day, an interaction with a golfer, or a memory from his career and family. He had such a warm and genuine way with people, and he never failed to remind me how old he was! He had such a sharp wit!
I´ll really miss seeing him. One day the first year of working him one or two times, by chance, I ran into Jim in the bakery section at Byerly´s in Edina. We ended up standing there for 45 minutes just talking about life and cookies. It was clear the staff knew him too.. he had that kind of presence: approachable, kind, and always open to conversation.
Jim, you will be missed. See you on the next turn. May God bless you and your family.

Jim was a kind, gentle and humble man. A life well lived. I always looked forward to working with Jim at Braemar. He will be missed. To his family, comfort and peace.
