James Borden Obituary
After leaving Haverhill, Jim spent most of his life doing what he loved most, and earning his living in the fishing industry. Fishing brought him all around the country. Most notably to Oregon, Florida and eventually Texas where he settled. Jim had a wonderful sense of humor and left many friends in every place he spent time in.
Jim will be missed by everyone whose lives he touched.
Jim is survived by his Father, Richard, his Step Mother, Pamela (Cooper) Borden, his Son, Matthew Florentino, his Nephew Justin, two Nieces, Michelle and Angela, and many beloved cousins. He was predeceased by his Mother, Virginia, two Daughters, and his two brothers, Steven and Richard B. (Rick) Borden.
Services will be held privately for the Family.

Jim was my confidante and best friend. I miss him terribly. Sometimes we would just sit and watch Gunsmoke, or take turns listening to music. We both loved our dogs, and even when Jim wasn't feeling good, he had a sense of humor ,and he was always up for a road trip. Our last road trip together was to the Texas hill country. He told me so many interesting stories about his adventures, and many people here liked him and will miss him. I loved him as a friend. He will always be in my heart.

His infectious smile will and has always been with me. Whether he was riding his motorbike following the power lines, playing his guitar in the basement, hitching to concerts or fishing everywhere he could he was always happy doing what he loved. My deepest sympathy to his family. May your hearts be filled with the memories of the wonderful times he has given to us.

Jim is a friend of mine from the late 70´s. We worked together at Honeywell in Lawrence. My condolences to his family. He was a great guy!
