Pastor James Maurice Boyd

Pastor Boyd was a wonderful person. His eldest son, JD, and I were best friends, spending countless days at each other's houses. Pastor Boyd would always call me "O," and at first, I´d respond with, "My name is Austin." He´d laugh and say I just looked like a cool kid who could be called "O," and I grew to love it. I truly enjoyed our conversations and his warm hospitality toward everyone around. His home was always open, a welcoming place where I could visit and learn as a teenager, growing in so many ways.
