James Anthony Buccille

James A. Buccille, age 65, of Mars, Pine Twp., formerly of Penn Hills, passed away in the comfort of his home with his family by his side on Friday morning, August 16, 2024.
Born in Pittsburgh, PA on September 9, 1958, he was the son of the late Ralph Anthony and Vera Sciullo Buccille.
Jim attended and graduated special classes with the Allegheny Intermediate Unit.
He was a member of Shining Arrow, Penn Hills from 1975-2010 and became a volunteer for many of those years. After moving to Mars, PA, he became a member of TRY in Wexford, until he was not able to participate.
Jim loved bowling and the comradery of being on a bowling league where he made special friendships. He was an avid Steeler fan and often got very involved watching the games. Jim was always ready to help and dedicated much of his life helping his parents as they aged. He will be truly missed.
Surviving are his sister, Patricia Cribari and her husband, John M. "Matt", of Pine Twp., with who he made his home, a niece, Christina Ann Cribari of Cranberry Twp., and his cousin, Lawrence V. Valerio of Harrisburg.
Friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Kilian Church, 7076 Franklin Rd. Cranberry Twp., PA 16066 on Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at 10:00 AM. Fr. Charles Bober, pastor, officiating. Please meet at the church. Burial will be in Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Penn Hills. Memorials in Jim's memory may be made to Shining Arrow, 10147 Frankstown Rd. Penn Hills, PA 15235.
