I met Dick playing golf at Spring Hills and it is likely I dealt with him, and his brother, at the old Al's location. He always gave me a hard time about hitting my tee shots longer than him. He was a decent golfer and we had fun. Being a Slovene I have bought the Slovene sausage at Al's for several years. Dick told me the he was not given a recipe, he figured it out via trial and error. I must admit that he nailed it from my experience eating it for over 70 years.

A life well lived. Fore!!!
