Born to eternal Life on Sunday October 12th, 2025, at the age of 90 years. Husband to the love of his life, the late Charlotte (nee Liebl) who he married in 1955. Beloved son of James C. and Helen Burtiss (nee Kripata). Dear father to Debbie (Mark) Thiessenhusen. Proud grandpa to Sara Thiessenhusen (Josh) and great grandson Gunner Niemi. Also survived by his nieces and their families who meant so much to him. Renata, Liz, Mary, Lani and Heidi.
Dad was very proud of his service in the United States Army. He enlisted in 1955. Upon his return, he became a licensed plumber and joined his father at Burtiss Plumbing. He was meticulous and eventually became a Master Plumber. He continued the business until his retirement. Dad loved NASCAR racing. Many memories were made while camping at the racetrack in Michigan with Mark and Debbie.
DAD YOU WILL ALWAYS BE LOVED, REMEMBERED AND MISSED!
