James Caldarone Obituary
Born in Providence, RI, he was the son of the late Albert J. and Esther Caldarone and lived most of his life in Westerly.
Jim spent his career as an autobody technician and was well known and respected for his meticulous work and eye for detail. His favorite pastimes were boating and hot rod restoration and he could usually be found tinkering at his garage.
Jim leaves behind his four children, Christopher (Marybeth) Caldarone, Mark (Maggie) Caldarone and Jason (Lynne) Caldarone; daughter Kassandra Caldarone; two sisters, Gloria (Dave) Boylan and Alberta (Susan) Caldarone; and five grandchildren. James was predeceased by his son Scott Kindelan.
Jim was a force to be reckoned with. He embodied all the joy, sorrow, weakness, humor and strength one man can possess. He will be missed by all.
Family and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Monday, May 6th from 5pm – 7pm at Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home, 59 Spruce St., Westerly. Funeral services will be private. For online condolences please visit www.gaffneydolanfuneralhome.com.

I knew Jimmy for about 10 years (1997-2007, approx). He was always entertaining and gave good advise. I'm sure he will be missed by all who Knew him.

Jim was a dear friend in high school. I have many wonderful memories which I'll treasure. On many of my visits back to Westerly from our FL home, I would make it a point to visit Jim at his Richmond business. Spontaneous laughter always resulted when we reminisced. He was a unique person. Rest in Peace, Jim!
