To the Capsalis family; Sorry for your loss. I'll always remember when I worked for Jim in the early 60's at Robie Shoe on Jackson St. in Lowell.Working in the mills for little money but thankful that we had a job. He was a great guy . Years later I bumped into Jim at Market Basket and he gave me two braclets and said. One for you and one for you wife.Wear these and you will have good health. That's the kind of guy he was, very religious and he thought the world of his family. And thank god we had a veteran like Jim that fought for our freedoms. RIP Jim!

I have fond, early childhood memories of Jim and the Capsalis family in Centralville. From day trips to Corbett's Pond, Hampton Beach and Greek picnics. Jim gave his son John and I our first full-time summer job at Robbie Shoe. It's was great to know the boss. He was a generous man. They all made me feel part of the family. May he rest in peace. My condolences to the Capsalis family.
