Jim was both a student and later a colleague of mine. He was an outstanding teacher/coach who I admired for his professionalism.
The outdoor education program that Jim established is a great part of his legacy. I want to express my sympathy to Lynn and family for Jim"s passing. Warm regards, John Shaughnessy

We send our deepest condolences and sympathy to Jim's family and those who loved him. I (Kathleen) worked with Jim at the Crispell Middle School when he was assigned some 7th grade Science classes that I also taught. I was happy to help him out, share Science materials, and be his colleague during those years. We hope all the good memories of Jim help to comfort and give peace to his family.

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Jim. I remember him as a member of the first year coaching the varsity basketball team, he was a good leader player and great teammate. My condolences to the Caputo family .
