So sorry to hear this sad news. Jim was a coworker of mine at Fel-Pro in Skokie. He was a really nice guy and always greeted me with a warm smile. I remember how proud he was of his plane and knew how much he loved to fly. RIP Mr. Cardis.

Jim was one of the nicest people I´ve had the pleasure to know. Our mutual interest in each other´s history led to much discussion every time we met. A brave member of our `greatest generation´, and proud of it. I´m honored that he was part of my life.
