James "Jim" David Carrington
James "Jim" Davi.0000d Carrington, 66, passed away suddenly at home in Hamilton, MT, in the arms of his beloved wife of over 35 years.
Born in Great Falls, Montana to Jackson David Carrington and Ethel Anderson Carrington on March 23, 1956. He was the youngest of three children. The family relocated to Havre, Montana where he spent a glorious childhood with his two sisters and among his lifelong childhood friends.
Jim is survived by his wife, Jamie Leach Carrington, his three children, Ondine Kohn (James) Barnt, Jonathan Carrington, Nicole Carrington (Robert) Westberry; grand children, Aurora and Christopher Barnt and Tamzin Westberry; nephew Jason Gardiner; cousins Jean Witter, Susie and Kaye' stepbrother and sister Vance and Valerie Warwick; brother-in-law, Vern Richardson.
Jim is predeceased by his parents Jackson D. Carrington and Ethel Anderson Carrington-Warwick; his stepfather Vance T. Warwick; sisters Carol Carrington and Jane Richardson; cousin Mary Tauer; numerous aunts and uncles and grandparents.
Private memorial services will be held this summer and a video and in-depth memorial will be posted soon on Jim's and family member's Facebook pages.

So sorry to hear the passing of Jim. I enjoyed talking to Jim about fly fishing Skalkaho and he always had an interest in talking about my football games while I was in high school. Sending my condolences and prayers to all the family.

I spent time with Jim, on and off, through our school years....in kindergarten and junior high, especially. One of the memories that I, or my Dad who is 96, have never forgotten......is when we were in kindergarten....Jim gave me this very pretty ring. I remember being so proud of it when I showed my parents what Jim had given me.
My parents agreed that the ring was very beautiful, but said that I could not keep it. I remember being sad.... Why not? Turns out, Jim had, somehow, found his mom´s wedding ring. Being the sweet, generous, young boy that he was....he gave it to me! My parents quickly returned the ring....but we have never forgotten it... His parents were very gracious about it. The story came up many times through the years.
I didn´t see Jim, often, but whenever I did...he was just always so nice! He held a special spot in my heart.
How wonderful that you had many years with him...you must have been very special, too.
