James Carroll Obituary
James Ronald Carroll passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 19, 2026, at the age of 80.
A Visitation will be held on Monday, February 23, 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Carlisle Funeral Home, followed by a service in the Chapel.
Ronald was born on July 13, 1945, in Bladen County, North Carolina to the late James Craven Carroll and Letha Hackney Chinnis.
In addition to his parents, Ronald is predeceased by his sister Donna Matthews.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Davis Carroll; sons, Jerry Wayne Carroll (Cindy) and James Robert Carroll; grandsons, Wesley James Carroll, Matthew Grayson Carroll; sisters, Martha Melvin (Carly), Diane Nix, Connie Carroll, Wanda Towe and various nieces and nephews.
In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The American Heart Association at P.O. Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284-0692.
