James wasn´t just a colleague at Lilly - he was the kind of mentor who shaped how you think, how you lead, and how you show up for others. His guidance left a mark that no retirement, no distance, and not even his passing can erase.
I carry his lessons with me every day. The world is quieter without him, and I will miss him deeply.
