My wife and I live in Finland, whenever we visited my brother in Norwich, N.Y., we always looked very much forward to seeing Jymn, as in Hymn; and as a fellow musician I really appreciated jamming with him - he was absolutely great! I was shocked by his passing! He was so full of life and brought excitement where ever and whenever he arrived. We will miss him so very much - my visits to Norwich won't be the same - I sill cannot believe he is gone - but we will listen to him on the recordings we have of him - so he is never fully gone and will always be in our hearts. I wish I could give him a big hug right now. The deep sadness I feel is exceeded only by the joy of having known him. Bill Simcoe and Mervi Saarenmaa

Jim, you were like a little brother to me. When I was serving our country, you made sure my Mom and Dad received helped whenever they needed it. Sheila and I especially enjoyed meeting up with you when you were playing in bands. We especially enjoyed your stayovers with us and your late night piano concerts in our home. We will miss you but we've got allot of treasured memories from holf outings, to your visits here in Penn Yan...God speed...Greg and Sheila Disbrow
