James Lee Clements II, loving husband of Robin Ruth Rabe Clements, passed away on February 24, 2026 at the age of 78.
James was born in San Diego, California on June 17, 1947 to the late James Lee Clements, Jr. and Jeanette Beck Clements. He was an Army veteran of over 20 years, working as a Hawk Fire Control Mechanic, stationed throughout his career at Ft. Lews, WA, Ft. Bliss, TX, South Korea, and West Germany. He retired as Sergeant First Class (E-7).
James loved to travel, old black & white Westerns, playing poker, building Legos, and listening to audiobooks. His most recent church membership was with Bread of Life Lutheran Church in Georgetown, KY.
James is survived by his wife Robin, daughter Ruth Rabe Clements, sons James Rabe Clements and Jason Rabe Clements, sister Sherry Engstrom, brother Richard Clements, and five grandchildren.
The family will hold a private interment service at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery in Williamstown.
