Mr. James Elza Cochran, age 75 of Calhoun, Georgia, passed away on Monday, March 9th, 2026 at his residence.
Mr. Cochran was born in Gilmer County on November 30th, 1950, a son of the late Elijah Cochran and the late Claire Melinda Baker Cochran. Mr. Cochran found great joy in playing his guitar, singing, and cave diving. He was of the Christian faith.
Survivors include his two daughters, Lisa Postelle and her husband Fred of Cleveland, TN and Lynda Cochran of Calhoun; four grandchildren, Cierra Cochran, Cody Banks, Braydon Banks, and Mason Roberson; mother of his daughters, Pamela Mulkey; two great-grandchildren, Tara Roberson and Willow Banks.
Mr. Cochran was cremated and no services are planned at this time.
