Jim was born on May 30, 1952, in Mason City to parents Dick and Margaret (Jacks) Coe and was raised in Plymouth, IA.
Jim loved being on an open two-lane blacktop just cruising along. It didn't matter if it was around his home or on the way cross country.
If you were camping with him at a bike event, sitting around talking and heard a bike start, Jim could tell you if it was Knucklehead, Panhead, or Shovelhead Harley just by the sound. How he loved to hear and see the old Harley's on the road.
Through Jim’s desire to take the road less traveled and his eagerness for adventure gave him the opportunity to meet a lot of nice people from all around the world.
Along with his love for riding Jim also loved fishing, gardening, college basketball, and baseball (especially the Minnesota Twins.)
Jim is survived by his daughter, Amber (David) Hayden of Howell, MI, brother, Dale (Cheryl) Coe of Fargo, ND, and many cousins and close friends.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Scott Coe, and his parents.
