They don´t come better. What a loss. Jim was a very special guy who was both a work colleague and good friend. His mere presence lit up the room. A very unique and special guy. Thoughts and prayers go out to Laura and the entire Conroy family.

I worked with Jim at Porter, Wright and we became friends, playing golf, attending Indians games and watching his soms compete for St. Ignatius and Ohio State. He was a true friend, a great partner and i will miss him.

Jim and I became friends in the last 20 years or so. I admired him as a player and followed his path in football at Bay High School. Jim was always proud of the facts that he "played for the greatest high school in America, Jack Llewellyn and the greatest college coach in America, Woody Hayes". Jim was always kind and gracious and he and Laura opened up their home to my wife Joy and I the weekend his teammate John Rodman was elected into the Bay Athletic Hall of Fame. God Bless and RIP Jim!

A member of our family had the privilege of being in the same law firm as Jim for a number of years. It was always very special whenever we could get together with Jim and members of his family. It was an especially meaningful occasion when he was the sponsor for my grandson when he was confirmed. Heartfelt condolences from the Chryst family to the Conroy family.

We are so saddened to learn of Jim´s passing. He was a wonderful friend and Chautauqua neighbor. We always enjoyed chatting over the fence with him. He will be greatly missed! We send our love and deepest sympathy.

Jim was a great friend to so many in our community. He had a way of showing up-with warmth, humor, and heart-and his absence will be felt by all who knew him.

Jim has been the most wonderful friend through the last 50 years. He helped 2 very young kids from California with homesickness and made us a part of a wonderful friend group we have had all these years. We feel honored to have known him.

We were so fortunate to have Jim coach our older son (John) at St. Raphael for CYO basketball. Several years later, Jim coached John and JJ as a football coach at Lutheran High School West, the first season that the Longhorns made the OHSAA playoffs. Jim was a no-nonsense but enthusiastic coach in both sports who made a positive impact in our sons' lives. God bless Jim and his family.

I only knew Jim through work, however, he was always a good conversationalist and a fine person to be around,
