James Jaffery Cowser, a beloved son, brother, partner, father, nephew, cousin, uncle, and friend, left us far too soon on September 3, 2025 at the young age of 40.
James was a steadying force in the lives of those he loved. He shared his warmth, intelligence, and kindness with those lucky enough to be close to his avid gamer and multitalented self. To his family, he was a source of pride and joy; to his friends, a loyal companion; and to all, a reminder of kindness, the guy to call when something breaks or you do.
He was preceded in death by his father Danny Cowser, and stepfather Jim Hardin.
He is survived by his loving mother, Valerie Hardin, his step-mother, Julie Cowser, his siblings Danielle Horsley, Kristen Swisher, Lacie Cowser, Jonny Cowser, Amy Justice, Tony Justice and his many cousins, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends who will carry his memory forever. James will also be deeply missed by his lifelong “Lobster” Crystal Martin, and their daughter Olivia who loved him dearly.
Though his time with us was short, James’s impact was immeasurable, and his love will remain in our hearts always.
