James A. Curley

James Anthony Curley, 55, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, April 20, 2024, at Trident Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. James was born in Charleston, SC, on July 19, 1968 to William and Ianita (Peterson) Curley. James grew up in Goose Creek, SC after his father retired from the Navy. He graduated from Goose Creek High School which is where he met his loving and beautiful wife of 36 years, Michelle (Rabon). He joined the Air Force in 1987 and retired as a MSgt Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor after 25 years of service. He moved his family back to Goose Creek to be with extended family in 2002.
James is remembered by those that knew him as loving his family, the outdoors, and serving God with great love and joy in everything he did.
James is survived by his wife, Michelle; sons, Ryan (Jenna) Curley of Lathrop, CA, and Casey (Danielle) Curley of Simpsonville, SC; grandchildren Alice, Maggie, Ferris, Maverick, and his newest granddaughter arriving in 2024. His sister Beth (Paul) Erk, of Newell, SD, and His brother Kevin (Rosemarie) Curley, of Midlothian, VA. Nephews and Nieces, Joshua Tysk, Paul (Allea) Provorse, Courtney (Johnson) Provorse, Megan Provorse, and Brian Curley.
Services will be held Thursday April 25, 2024 at James A Dyal Funeral Home, 303 S. Main Street, Summerville, SC 29483. The viewing is at 12pm, the services will be held at 1pm.
Burial 2:15 pm at Riverview Memorial Park Cemetery, 3715 Azalea Drive, North Charleston, SC 29405
