Breaux Bridge - A Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 pm on Tuesday, April 5, 2022, at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge for James "David" Morgan, 75, who passed away on Friday, April 1, 2022.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 9:00 am until 3:00 pm on Tuesday, April 5, 2022.
A rosary will be prayed at 2:00 pm on Tuesday.
Deacon Marcel "Butch" Hebert will officiate at the Funeral Service.
David worked as a boat captain in the oilfield all his life. He loved hunting, fishing, spending time with his family and friends, and drinking beer.
He is survived by his three sons, Ryan Paul Judice (Christy), Keenan James Morgan and David Keith Morgan (Michelle); three grandchildren, Jansen Thomas Cooper Judice, Kaycee Lyn Morgan (Justin Sidener), and David Lewis Morgan (Kira); two great grandchildren, Hunner Morgan and Kinley Morgan; sister, Margaret Edna Faye Marcel (Tom); brother-in-law, Troy Thomas Eldridge (Edie); and one niece, Stasia Marcel Bozeman.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Christine Marie Morgan; father, James Oliver Morgan; mother, Murlene Gilmore Morgan; two brothers, Dale Morgan and Gary Morgan; great grandchild, Reese David Morgan; father-in-law, Thomas John Eldridge; and his mother-in-law, Barbara Mae Eldridge.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge, 211 Berard St., Breaux Bridge, LA 70517, (337-332-2111) is in charge of arrangements.
