My memories of my Grandpa Jim, even from when I was 5 years old, are quite consistent. Any time I would see him he always carried a certain amount of joy and personability; he could talk with almost anyone and get a laugh or make someone feel comfortable. He loved talking sports, and this is what we would connect on most. One would talk to him and see contentment, peace and joy in his big blue eyes, and one would feel they are in the presence of someone who loves to smile and laugh. Thank you Grandpa for all the love and support, all the great thanksgivings and Christmases, the summer boat rides, the fun dinners, the drinks, the laughs, the sports talks, and all the love. I love you and your presence is missed.
