James "Jimmy" Deck

JAMES ORVILLE DECK James Orville Deck, age 43 of Crab Orchard, passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2009. Born March 2, 1966 he was the son of Patricia and the late Arveral Deck of Sophia. Jimmy was an avid fisherman and outdoorsman who enjoyed just simply sitting around a fire. He has taught us all what is truly means to be patient a good listener and how “to enjoy life�. Jimmy has a very large and special place in his heart for all children. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 24 years, Missy, mother, Patty; brother, Roger; nephews, Jeremy Deck and Brandon Carter, and many other family members and numerous friends. Services will be held today, Friday, October 16, 2009 at 2:00 PM at Williams-Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Sophia with Brother Ernie Keller officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. J. C. Gillespie, L. A. Bailes, J. K. Rapp, J. L. Folk, D. R. Kincaid, D. A. Gunnoe of Troop 7 WV State Police will serve as pallbearers.
