James William Devault

James William Devault, age 86, of Grayson, GA passed away on Monday, December 30, 2024. He is survived by his daughter, Mollye Devault; grandson, Chris Taylor; sister and brother-in-law; Brenda and Kenneth Duckett; brother and sister-in-law, Raymond and Linda Devault; sister-in-law, Doris Willian; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends who loved him dearly. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, LouRita Devault; parents, Earnest and Catherine Devault; sister, Shirley Overton.
James proudly served his country in the United States Navy from July 1955-June 1959. He was a member of the Kiwanis Club as well as Glen Memorial Methodist Church. James worked for GA Power as an engineer. In his down time, James enjoyed building and renovating homes. He loved to fish and enjoyed visiting the beach and the mountains.
A Memorial Service Honoring the Life of James will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at 12:00PM at Tom M. Wages Lawrenceville Chapel. Inurnment will be held on Saturday, January 18 2025, at 2:00PM at Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 18th from 10:00AM until the time of service at 12:00PM.
