James Woodson Dillard Sr.

I always enjoyed my conversations with Mr. Dillard at the YMCA. Listening to him talk about his military carrer was very inspiring. A true military hero and patriarch. He will be missed. Mr. Dillard, I salute you! My thoughts and prayers are with your family during this time.

It was an honor and a blessing to have known our "Mr. D". His humor, sweet spirit, and determined character inspired all of us during our visits to the Manchester YMCA.
Coffee and chats with him were the highpoint of the day for many of us folks.
We are very sure that our loss has become heaven's gain.
God be with you during these next days as you celebrate the life he lived and mourn his passing.
