Jim always had a cheerful demeanor. Even though he endured very difficult health challenges, he kept a smile on his face. I would think of him as an inspiration when I encountered health challenges, for I believed he modeled the correct way to approach them. He not only had a cheerful smile, but also a wonderfully sweet soul behind that smile.
