James T. "Jimmy" Driscoll, 49, of Ogdensburg, PA, passed away very unexpectedly at his home on Friday, January 16, 2026.
James Thomas was born on December 19, 1976, in Sayre, the son of Thomas Driscoll of Towanda and Cheryl (Shedden) Morgan of Troy. He attended Troy Area Schools and graduated with the Class of 1995.
On September 6, 2013, James married the former Kristi Bryington in Wildwood, New Jersey and together they shared twelve years of loving marriage.
Jimmy worked for nearly thirty years with Wysox Auto Parts, formerly NAPA, where he served as general manager. He was also a proud member of the Arnot Sportsman Club.
Jimmy was a true outdoorsman who felt most at home outside. He enjoyed hunting especially deer and turkey. Some of his favorite memories were made camping at Tanglewood Campground with family and friends. A talented cook, he loved smoking and grilling meat and sharing good food with the people he loved.
A devoted sports fan, Jimmy cheered passionately for Red Sox baseball and the Philadelphia Eagles. He was also well known in the demolition derby community, competing at fairs in Troy, Whitneyville, Sullivan County, and beyond. James had a gift for humor, his dad jokes were unmatched, and he could make anyone laugh. Soft spoken and gentle by nature, he carried himself with a quiet warmth.
Above all, Jimmy loved his family and treasured every moment spent with them.
In addition to his father, mother and step-father, James leaves behind his beloved wife, Kristi, son, Corbin (Megan) Driscoll of Roaring Branch, daughter, Mara Driscoll of Lock Haven, granddaughter, Haven, siblings, Kevin (Laurie) Henerey of Rome, Warren Driscoll of Towanda and Susan Driscoll of Canton, paternal grandmother, Phyllis Driscoll of Towanda, mother-in-law, Gail Bryington or Roaring Branch, his canine companion, Morgan as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
