"Duke" as Jim was known to his friends on Staten Island during our teen years touched the lives of many. We spent those "Happy Days" at Oakwood beach swimming, fishing and enjoying the all too short summers.

I remember the good times we had working on our cars, trying to coax just a few more miles out of them. During our last conversation on his 76th b/day, out of the blue I asked Jim what is (1-5-4-8-6-3-7-2)?? without hesitation he said the Firing Order of a flat head Ford V8.

Over the years we became separated by time and distance,But just knowing that he was there was always a comfort.

Rest Easy, Old Friend, Knowing that you made the world a better place. Your loss will be deeply felt by all who had the privilege to know you
